Copyright and Reuse
Understand the MIT terms for starter code, CC BY 4.0 terms for original Aetherfall material, and obligations for third-party game assets.
Starter code
The reusable starter code is available under MIT terms. Keep the required license notice with redistributed copies or substantial portions of that code.
The MIT terms cover code, not every name, image, article, or other creative work placed into a site.
Aetherfall material
Original Aetherfall demo text and vector media use CC BY 4.0. Reuse requires appropriate credit, a link to the license, and an indication when changes were made.
Credit can name Aetherfall Archive and link to the relevant material or site when practical.
Third-party material
Game names, logos, screenshots, artwork, video, and other third-party assets remain subject to their owners’ rights. Adopters must replace them or obtain permission suitable for their use.
Do not assume the starter’s MIT terms grant rights to material added from another game or publisher.
Attribution
The media Registry displays credit and license information with informative Aetherfall images. Keep equivalent attribution visible when those images are reused.
