Emberbrand Location and Upgrade Path
Reach the Emberbrand sealed forge, meet its route requirement, plan the first three upgrades, and choose suitable melee classes.
Exact route
Enter Ember Citadel through the lower aqueduct, climb the western stairs, and activate the lift’s brass switch. Ride up and turn through the upper hall.
Collect the forge seal from the guarded alcove, then return to the marked red door. Emberbrand is on the central weapon stand inside.

Follow the aqueduct and western lift route to reach the sealed forge safely.
Seal requirement
The forge seal appears only after the western lift is active. Activating the lift first also creates the permanent checkpoint needed for a safe return.
The seal is not consumed by opening the door, but the door remains open after the first use. Later visits can go directly from the lift to the forge.
Upgrades
The first three upgrades use cinder cores found in the forge and from later Warden clears. Complete those steps before spending rarer materials elsewhere.
Upgrade one attack-chain node at a time. Mixing early branches delays the damage increase that makes Emberbrand competitive.
Best classes
Fast melee classes use Emberbrand best because they can finish its chain during short openings. Slower defensive classes should use shorter attacks or keep Glacial Lance for safer reach.
Frostbreaker
Use Emberbrand as the accessible alternative until Glacial Lance is available.
